At Homyone SRL, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward return and refund process in accordance with Romanian and European Union consumer protection laws.

2. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

As a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. This is in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights.

2.1 Withdrawal Period

The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days from the day:

  • You (or a third party indicated by you) acquire physical possession of the goods
  • You acquire possession of the last item (for multiple items ordered in one order)
  • You acquire possession of the last lot or piece (for goods delivered in multiple lots or pieces)

2.2 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

3. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Returned within 14 days of receiving your order
  • In original, unused, and undamaged condition
  • In original packaging with all tags and labels attached
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
Important: You are responsible for the diminished value of goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. Items that are damaged, worn, washed, or altered may not be eligible for a full refund.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal:

  • Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery (e.g., personal care items, undergarments)
  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized (custom orders)
  • Sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software, if unsealed after delivery
  • Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly
  • Goods that have been inseparably mixed with other items after delivery
  • Digital content delivered electronically if performance has begun with your consent

5. Return Process

Follow these simple steps to return your product:

Contact Us Notify us of your intention to return by email, phone, or our online form within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and reason for return.

Receive Return Authorization We will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions within 1-2 business days.

Pack Your Item Securely pack the item in its original packaging. Include the RMA number and a copy of your order confirmation inside the package.

Ship the Return Send the package to our returns address. We recommend using a tracked shipping service. Keep your shipping receipt as proof of return.

Receive Your Refund Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 14 days.

For returns at our expense, we will provide a prepaid shipping label or arrange pickup. Please do not ship the item until you receive instructions from us.

7. Refunds

7.1 Refund Amount

If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (but not any additional costs if you chose a delivery option other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us).

7.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method you used for the original purchase:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refund to original card
  • PayPal: Refund to PayPal account
  • Bank Transfer: Refund to original bank account
  • Cash on Delivery: Refund via bank transfer (bank details required)

8. Defective or Damaged Products

8.1 Damaged on Arrival

If your order arrives damaged, please:

  • Document the damage with photos before opening the package
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Keep all original packaging materials
  • We will arrange a free return and send a replacement or issue a full refund

8.2 Manufacturing Defects

Products with manufacturing defects are covered under the 2-year legal warranty of conformity as required by EU law. If you discover a defect:

  • Contact us with a description of the defect and photos
  • We will assess the issue and offer repair, replacement, or refund
  • Return shipping for defective products is paid by us

9. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or product:

  • Process a return for the original item following our return procedure
  • Place a new order for the desired item
  • We will refund the original item once received

This ensures the fastest processing time and guarantees availability of your desired product.

10. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe:

  1. Check your bank account or credit card statement again
  2. Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times vary
  3. If you've done the above and still haven't received your refund, contact us at returns@homyone.com

11. Order Cancellations

11.1 Before Shipment

You can cancel your order free of charge at any time before it has been shipped. Contact us immediately via email or phone to request cancellation. If successful, we will issue a full refund within 3-5 business days.

11.2 After Shipment

Once your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may refuse delivery or return the item once received following our standard return procedure.

12. Partial Returns

If you ordered multiple items and wish to return only some of them:

  • Indicate which items you are returning in your return request
  • We will refund only the value of the returned items
  • Original shipping costs are refunded only if all items are returned
